A Visit to Saint Anne’s Shrine

Statue of St Anne & a young Mother Mary with a blue sky and green mountain in the background.

On this Good Shepherd Sunday, we took a mini road trip to Saint Anne’s Shrine in Fiskdale, MA.

They had a nice quaint little gift shop where we spent most of our time browsing all of the fine merchandise. They also had a room with Russian icons from the 19th century that was quite interesting.

We took a quick peak inside the St.Anne’s Chapel and upon exiting we saw a little votive area tucked away down a hallway that had several pairs of crutches that were left by those that were healed.

As we were leaving we were fortunate enough to bump into a priest who was out for a walk and after a quick chat he was so kind as to bless the items we purchased in the gift shop.

So much more to see there on our next visit.
